Traditional Residential
Our Traditional Residential Program offers comprehensive residential services designed to provide a safe and stable living environment for children. These services include meeting basic needs such as nutritious meals, clothing, and personal hygiene. Educational support is provided through school enrollment, homework assistance, and tutoring. Emotional and behavioral counseling is available and included in each case plan, along with access to regular medical and dental care. Children can participate in social and recreational activities, receive life skills training, and benefit from individualized care plans tailored to their unique needs. Efforts are also made towards family reunification when appropriate, and thorough case management ensures coordinated support and services for each child.
Residential services here at the Church of God Children's Home encompass a range of support and care aimed at meeting the physical, emotional, and developmental needs of our children, who come from less than suitable homes where they may have experienced significant trauma in the forms of abuse or neglect and cannot live with their families. Our services include:
Teen Mom & Baby
Our Teen Mom and Baby program provides a dedicated residential program for teen moms and their babies, fostering a supportive and nurturing environment where young mothers can thrive. Teen mothers receive educational support, including school enrollment, tutoring, and assistance with childcare to balance their studies and parenting responsibilities. Our teen moms also receive comprehensive parenting education coupled with life skills training to empower our young women to confidently care for their children and themselves. Emotional and behavioral counseling is not only made available to address the unique challenges faced by teen moms but is included in every individual support plan and is complemented by regular medical and pediatric care to ensure the health of both mother and baby. The home also offers social and recreational activities designed to build a sense of community and support.
Individualized care plans and thorough case management provide personalized, coordinated services tailored to the specific needs of each family, promoting their overall well-being and future success.
