DONATE TO OUR URGENT NEEDS

People often ask how they can best support us here at the Children’s Home, and our answer is simple—helping meet our Urgent Needs makes the biggest impact. To make giving as easy and convenient as possible, we’ve created an Amazon Wish List. You can choose to have items shipped directly to your home and deliver them in person, or send them straight to us with just a few clicks.

By supporting our Urgent Needs, you are directly contributing to our growth initiatives, which allow us to continue caring for the children of tomorrow. As a Christ-centered ministry, we are committed to continually strengthening our program and setting a strong example of what compassionate, faith-driven care for at-risk youth looks like.

Legacy Giving

Consider Leaving a Legacy Through Planned Giving

Bequests in your will

Do you have a will? If not, it should be a top priority. Creating an estate plan is an important way to steward God’s blessings, and many people include charitable gifts in their will or living trust.

Gifts of Appreciated Stocks / Other Assests

Donating appreciated assets held for more than a year can avoid capital gains taxes and offer a highly tax-efficient
way to give.

Qualified Charitable Donations (QCDs)

Charitable distributions from an IRA (beginning at age 70½) can avoid taxable income and help satisfy required minimum distributions, up to $100,000 annually.

Beneficiary Designations on Retirement Accounts

Because IRA distributions are taxable, naming a charity as a beneficiary can maximize your gift by avoiding taxes.

Charitable Trusts

A charitable trust using appreciated assets can avoid capital gains taxes, provide income during life, and benefit both heirs and charity.

Life Insurance

Life insurance is an effective way to give, either by naming a charity as a beneficiary or donating an existing policy during your lifetime.
