Residential Care Provider

Qualifications: 
  • Valid High School Diploma.

  • Current North Carolina Driver’s License

  • No previous criminal or child abuse history for household members

  • Annual health assessment and TB test

  • Adequate physical and mental health certified by a physician

  • Ability to provide the child with an atmosphere for spiritual growth

Job Description: 

Provide a safe and comfortable environment for a child to live in. Provide the child’s basic physical and emotional needs. Provide consistent and realistic discipline and guidance that is age-appropriate and does not involve corporal punishment. Attend to medical and dental needs, providing routine medical and dental care as required by the Division of Social Services; monitor and administer any and all medications as prescribed. Help child through the separation, grieving, and adjustment process that accompanies removal from their birth family including participation in child’s counseling program. Communicate with each child’s case manager regarding child’s progress. Comply with DSS and agency policies and procedures as outlined.

 
 

Case MAnager

Qualifications: Bachelors in human services related field

Experience: At least one year working in direct child care.

Job Description: Our organization is currently hiring a Case Manager to create action plans for children which will help them improve their living conditions. You will be responsible for our children, providing behavior plans, attending court appearances, and providing needed assistance in meeting their permanency goal. You should have a high level of empathy as well as exceptional communication skills, since you will be communicating with children and their care providers daily. We want to see that you are a strong problem solver with a passion for helping others. Ultimately, you should establish solid relationships with our children to help them overcome negative life events
