Since
1944 the Home has provided a positive and safe
living environment for hurting, abused, dependent
neglected and at-risk children. This ministry
was birthed out of a desire to care for hurting
children. Our residents are both privately-
and state-placed. The Churches of God of North
Carolina provide oversight and support, but
the community has always been a vital part of
this ministry since its beginning. We are a
non-profit Christian agency. Many of the children
who come to the Home have experienced pain and
loss. Without apology, we share with them the
hope that is available through Jesus Christ.
Here the simple Gospel message is reinforced
by the love and care of our professional direct-care
staff and licensed counselors.
We
invite you to look through our site and learn
how you can become involved. As you browse the
information here, you will learn that the Home
is a residential, direct-care facility, licensed
by the State of North Carolina for ages 0 to
21. Our programs include Residential, Independent
Living, Foster Care and Teen Mother/Baby.
There
are several ways to partner with the Home if
you would like to be involved. The information
tabs should address most of your questions,
but feel free to contact us if you do not find
the information you need.
Thank you for your interest in caring for hurting
children.
