Welcome
to our website.
We are still under construction, but
have some very important information
already on the site. As you study the
history, you will quickly discover that
the Home was birthed out of a desire
to care for hurting children. The Churches
of God of North Carolina provide oversight
and support, but the community has been
a vital part of this ministry since
its inception.
We invite you to look through the site
and choose how you would like to become
involved. As you browse our site, you
will learn about our residential, independent,
foster care and teen mother/baby programs.
There are many opportunities to partner
with the Home. The “Question and Answer”
tab will address most of your questions,
but feel free to contact us if you don’t
find your answers there.
God bless you for your interest in caring
for children.

Many
of the children who come to the Home
have lived in very dark places and have never
heard the gospel. They have experienced the pain
of life without the knowledge that there is hope
for a better life and healing for their pain.
At the Home they begin to learn the simple gospel
message through devotions, counsel-ing, church
attendance and the demonstration of God’s
love by the house parents and staff. The gospel
message is reinforced by the love they receive
from those who invest their time and finances
to provide a safe, caring place for them to live.
As the gospel is lived out before them, they begin
to open themselves to God. Of-ten the healing
is slow because the wounds are so deep. Those
of us involved in the ministry at the Home rejoice
when we see a child experience God for the first
time. The risen Lord is their only hope.
Maybe there is something to the greeting used
by our brothers and sisters in the early church.
Because He is risen, we can live victoriously
and con-tinually proclaim the name of our risen
Lord. What a blessing it would be if we encouraged
and reminded everyone around us with these words: |
